Where are deleted files?

If files are deleted from a member of a Sync Folder, they are placed in the Windows Recycle Bin on every member’s own PC. To restore one or more deleted items, perform the following steps:

1. Close or minimize all applications, double-click the Recycle Bin icon in the background (desktop) to open the Recycle Bin.

2. Locate and click the deleted file(s) you want to restore.

3. Click Edit - Undo Delete. The deleted file(s) should be located again in the directory where it was originally located.

Attention: SYNCING.NET will immediately transfer this file, or multiple files to all participants of the Sync Folder. If a participant deletes the file(s) again, the file(s) will once again be automatically moved to the Recycle Bin after the next successful synchronization.

If items in Outlook are deleted from a member of an Outlook Group, they will be moved for each participant to their Outlook "Deleted items" folder. To restore one or more deleted items, perform the following steps:

Click the "Deleted items" in the Outlook folder list.  Click an item which you want to restore (or select multiple items), then you can move the item while holding down the mouse button to the folder from which the item was deleted, or any other folder you wish. Select multiple files by click with the right mouse button on the items and then "Move to folder". Now select the desired folder and click "OK".

The deleted items should now be located in the directory again from which they was originally deleted.

Attention: SYNCING.NET will immediately transfer this file, or multiple files to all participants of the Outlook Group. If a participant deletes the file or multiple files again, the file or files will once again be automatically moved to the "Deleted Items" folder after the next successful synchronization.
